The outsole itself is made of flexible yet hardwearing polyurethane that weighs less than traditional rubber. For cases where only the very best will do however, Wolverine DuraShocks boots are also available with Vibram rubber soles which provide excellent traction on the widest range of surfaces and have a high degree of abrasion resistance.
The removable full-cushion insole utilizes ‘space-age’ technology and is contoured to support the base of the foot especially in the critical heel strike area. In combination with the outsole, four times the force is absorbed reducing foot fatigue and aches considerably.
The insoles of Wolverine DuraShocks boots are also covered with a durable fabric which draws moisture away from the foot and reduces odor-causing bacteria.
